- Past President, American Numismatic Association (ANA), 1999-2001. The largest coin organization in the world, Chartered by the U.S. Congress (1912).
- ANA School of Numismatics awarded H. Robert Campbell a PhD in numismatics on the campus of Colorado College, in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2016.
- Head Authenticator for the lead team for the Anti-Counterfeiting Task Force. He instructs and give seminars for the following Federal agencies; U.S. Secret Service, Federal Bureau of Investigation, U. S. Customs Agents, U. S. - Summer Seminar (School of Numismatics) 5 years. “Detection of Artificial Toning on Coins” A scientific themed class on thin film interference and oxidation on metal surfaces. Understanding through the scientific method man made vs. natural toning. What’s real and what isn’t. Certain types of natural toning can increase the value by several hundred percent.
- Utah’s only member of the Professional Numismatists Guild (PNG). A national organization of the best dealers in the country, dedicated to knowledge, integrity, and responsibility. Alternate to PNG Mediation Committee 2003-2004.
- Contributor to A Guide Book of United States Coins, “ The Red Book,” the number one selling book about U. S. Coins in the country and the world.
- Recipient of 1998 Numismatic News Ambassador award for outstanding service in the numismatic community.
- A principal speaker in front of the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs for the United States Senate, One Hundred Sixth Congress, Second Session, September 13, 2000 on “Future U. S. Coin Design.”
- ANA Glen Smedley Memorial Award winner. The Glenn Smedley Memorial Award was created in memory of Glenn B. Smedley, a collector’s collector, to recognize individuals who have devoted their efforts to the betterment of the ANA. - 2001
- ANA Goodfellow Medal- 2001. Awarded to the show chairman of either the National Money Show or the World’s Fair of Money.
