•   H. Robert Campbell

   Owner Bob Campbell a native of Utah and a businessman in Salt Lake City for the last 44 years. The following background and training demonstrates H. Robert Campbell’s knowledge and professional numismatic experience in the inter-mountain region. 

• Past President, American Numismatic  Association (ANA), 1999-2001. The largest coin      organization in the world, Chartered by the U.S. Congress (1912).
• ANA School of Numismatics awarded H. Robert Campbell a PhD in numismatics on the campus of Colorado College, in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2016.
• Four years Chairman of the ANA’s Mediation Committee which is responsible for handling ethical complaints involving business transactions between ANA member dealers and the public as well as other concerns within the ANA.
• Many consider him to be one of  the top ten professional numismatists in the country. 
• Past Chairman of ANA’s Advisory Council, who reports directly to the Board of Governors.
• Head Authenticator for the lead team for the Anti-Counterfeiting Task Force. He instructs and give seminars for the following Federal agencies; U.S. Secret Service,      Federal Bureau of Investigation, U. S. Customs Agents, U. S. Border      Patrol, Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation Unit, U. S. Treasury Department, Homeland Security, U. S. Mint, U. S. Marshals and Affiliated Agents.
• Currently mediation committee chairman for National Token Collectors Association. This is about handling of ethical complaints.
• Member of the ANA’s Board of Governors (1997-1999).
• Past offices held within the ANA’s Coin Club Representative Program include, Club Representative District Delegate, Regional Coordinator, and National Coordinator.
• Consultant for the ANA’s Authentication Bureau, PCGS, ANACS, and NGC.
• Summer Seminar (School of Numismatics) “Instructor of Counterfeit and Alteration Detection on Coins,” for the American Numismatic Association (ANA) 1995-present, where he teaches Secret Service agents as well as seasoned numismatists, coin dealers, and coin collectors of all types. 
• Summer Seminar (School of Numismatics) 7 year instructor. “Detection of Artificial Toning on Coins” A scientific themed class on thin film interference and oxidation on metal surfaces. Understanding through the scientific method man made vs. natural toning. What’s real and what isn’t. Certain types of natural toning can increase the value by several hundred percent.
• Utah’s only member of the Professional Numismatists Guild (PNG).  A national organization of the best dealers in the country, dedicated to knowledge, integrity, and      responsibility. Alternate to the PNG Mediation Committee 2003-2004.
• Contributor to A Guide Book of United States Coins,  “ The Red Book,” the number one selling book about U. S. Coins in the country and the world. 
• Recipient in 1998 of the prestigious  Numismatic News Ambassador award for outstanding service in the numismatic community.
• A principal speaker in front of the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs for the United States Senate, One Hundred Sixth Congress, Second Session, September 13, 2000 on “Future U. S. Coin Design.” 
• ANA Glen Smedley Memorial Award winner. The Glenn Smedley Memorial Award was created in memory of Glenn B. Smedley, a collector’s collector, to recognize individuals who have devoted their efforts to the betterment of the ANA. - 2001 
• ANA Goodfellow Medal- 2001.  Awarded to the show chairman of either the National Money Show or the World’s Fair of Money.
• ANA Medal of Merit award winner- 2019 . The ANA presents the Medal of Merit Award to honor individuals who have dedicated numerous years of service to the association and promotion of the hobby.
• Member of 40+ national numismatic clubs and professional organizations including ANS, FUN, CSNS, TAMS, and NTCA.  
• Only person to be a president of all 4 Utah coin clubs.

• Speaker and educator with public school systems locally and nationally and work closely with the Boy Scouts of America as a leader. 
• 40 years Adult Scout Leader (scoutmaster). Instructor at Roundtable.
• Worked with over 2000 scouts completing their Coin Collecting Merit Badge.
• Professional Numismatist (Coin Dealer) for over 44 years.
• He has designed and started several commemorative society medals in local and national organizations.
• Educated in Petroleum Geology, Metallurgy, Chemistry, and U. S. History at Brigham Young University (1981-1984).
• Author of nine numismatic books and have many others under way.  
• Current ANA Numismatist- Contributing editor.
• Utah State Quarter Commission member 2006-2007 (worked with Governor John Huntsman Jr.)
• He is known nationally as a “Complete Numismatist.”  A professional numismatist by trade, owning and operating a coin shop, All About Coins Inc., in Salt Lake City for the past 44 years.  Receiving numerous other awards citing his experience and credibility over the last 42 years he is also cited frequently by national numismatic publications like “Numismatic News,” “Coin World,”  “The Numismatist,” etc. Starred in programs on: Discovery Channel, ABC,  America’s Most Wanted,(Leading to the capture of a murdered coin dealer- Jordan Allgood,) Five different educational DVD’s produced by “AdVision.” Coin Television. Discovery Road Show host in Association with the National Park Service. He is not just an average coin dealer. 
• TAMS symposium speaker at the 1992 ANA National Money Show on Mormon Coins, Currency, Tokens, and Medals. And a caveat on Mark Hoffman Forgeries.
• Has given more than 200 numismatic lectures around the country on a multitude of topics. These presentations have been on: Artificial vs Natural Toning, Artificial Frosting and Re-Proofing of Coins. He is, known in the industry, as the most knowledgeable numismatist on original natural toning.
• Numerous ANA’s “Money Talks” and “Numismatic Theater” presentations over several decades.
• In 2019 he gave a seminar in Poland, for the Polish Numismatic Society, on What type of coins should be certified and graded by third party grading services. NGC provided supplies and materials for the students attending. Also workshops about artificial toning and how to detect it. NGC designated the title of Numismatic Ambassador for them. Student came from around Europe and spoke many languages.
• Taught courses both in coin grading and counterfeit detection at ANA Worlds Fair of Money  Seminars.
